Kankakee Valley REMC Continues Their Commitment To Supporting the Porter County Fair and 4-H Program

Kankakee Valley REMC presented a donation of $5,000 to the Porter County Fair to assist with the 4-H program along with maintenance to the fairgrounds. With a long time commitment to the success of the county fair and the 4-H program, Kankakee Valley REMC has supported the fair as a financial donor and also in other ways to benefit the 4-H program. We applaud the hard work and dedication of many volunteers and community leaders each year that give time to the success of the Porter County fair. We have supported the fair each year through donations and involvement because of what it does for the community and also the pride it bring to those involved in the 4-H program,” commented Dennis Weiss, Kankakee Valley REMC CEO.

Kankakee Valley REMC, located in Wanatah, Indiana is a member-owned rural electric cooperative serving approximately 18,000 members throughout Starke, Pulaski, Porter, Lake, Marshall, St. Joseph and LaPorte County.
