Calvary Link: Work One – Worship One

Lionel-YoungI have called Jesus the most interesting man in the world throughout this series in the Gospel of Mark. It's not just a clever expression - I really believe it. This coming weekend we are looking at the story of Jesus getting mad in church. As we will see, He was troubled by what their religion had become. The place of worship, well, was supposed to be a place of worship! I hope you will join me (and bring a friend) as we continue to learn about the God-man. And of course, we will bring our God delight (Psalm 149.4) by worshipping Him with all kinds of instruments, played for His glory! I just love our worship team!!!

Don't forget that our 3-service line-up starts Sunday, September 15 (not this weekend). Based on last week's commitments I can now tell you that our 8:15a service is looking very well, our 9:45a service is looking very full, and we need more people to join us at 11:15a. We are also still in need of people to serve. What would be really awesome is if we could ask as many of you as possible to Work One, and Worship One this fall. At least to help us get started. Perhaps some of you could work at 9:45a and worship at 11:15a! Would you pray about making that sacrifice for the kingdom? One hour could make all the difference in a life - for all eternity.

I love being your Pastor. I feel very blessed to be working with you for the Gospel.

For Your Joy,

Lionel
