I am writing from Southern California today. Oscar Muriu and I are at a missions conference, where we are at work meeting with other churches that are following our lead to form global partnerships for the spread of the Gospel. It is exciting to think that God is using our church in Valparaiso to have such an impact on other churches. Let's pray BIG together!
This Sunday we begin our brand new series, Love Song - a verse-by-verse exposition of the biblical book, Song of Songs. I will be talking about love, romance, and sex in church from God's Word. Everyone is talking about sex, except the church, and it is time for that to change. This would be a great week to invite a friend to worship with you. You don't want to miss it.
I have enjoyed my short stay with friends in California, but I'm looking forward to heading home so I can appreciate the fall colors. I hope you are taking delight in the beauty of God's creation and giving praise to the beautiful Creator who has given us all things to enjoy.

Student Ministries
Student Ministries' food drive will kick-off this Saturday, 10.25! Please meet in the Well at 9a for breakfast, then we will head to local grocery stores in groups to collect donations. We encourage you to continue collecting donations over the next few weeks to help families who find themselves in need. All donations will go with us to the Boxes of Love packing events in Chicago in November.
High school and middle school students are invited to a special night this Sunday, 10.26! MS and HS worship together at 6-8p in the Well. Sevenglory will be onsite to lead worship, plus we'll have an awesome guest speaker and a couple of surprises that you will NOT want to miss! We can't wait to see you!
Coffee with the Pastors
