Calvary Link: We Believe!

Calvary-Link-Good-to-be-HomeOur brand NEW mini-series "The Creed" starts this Sunday! The word "creed" comes from the Latin word creedo, which literally means, "we believe." We will be expounding the whole of Christian doctrine, and its relevance for our lives, in 4 short weeks! Invite a friend and tell them, "You will get a nice overview of everything the church believes and why it matters in 4 sermons!" I promise you that this series is going to be rooted--and relevant.

And can I also say we believe God can do amazing things? In 1994, our worship center was built to hold 330 worshippers. Last Sunday, we pulled out all stops, and nearly 2,200 worshippers gathered together here on Sunday morning over four services. Wow! The gospel was expounded, and the risen Savior was exalted! Thank you to all those who volunteered from greeters to musicians, ushers to security, technicians to nursery workers and children's staff. Just wow! Every person we served represents a life touched for eternity, and that is what we are all about. Changing lives--FOREVER.

Let's keep spreading the good news TOGETHER.

PS. You may notice that our giving was exceptionally generous last week. I'll explain why when we see each other on Sunday. All I can say is you will be amazed!

What's New at Calvary...

Stories of Changed Lives
Stories inspire us and encourage us in our journey with God. Hearing the great things God is doing in our midst gives us hope to keep loving and serving right where we are. See again the story the Reasoner family shared on Easter at www.calvaryweb.net/stories. You can also share your God story here! Tell us what you see God doing in and around Calvary Church.

Host Families Needed
Next week, we will be hosting 15 of our Global Ministry partners from the Nairobi Chapel Worship Team. We are looking for a few more Calvary families to host team members in their homes from April 15-21. If you are interested in serving in this way, please contact robyn@calvaryweb.net.

You won't want to miss Sunday, April 19, as the team joins CalvaryLive to lead Sunday morning worship at Calvary!
