What a month we have had at Calvary! On May 6, I was in the water in all three worship services baptizing young and old as they declared their decision to follow Jesus. On Mother's Day, we welcomed nearly 40 babies into our church family, and we promised to help their parents make a lasting impression on them for Christ (Deuteronomy 6). Last Sunday night, some 150 students and staff jammed into the Well (our student center) to send off seniors and to welcome the next generation! God is using us to change lives FOREVER.
I am looking forward to a great summer with you. This Sunday, we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the Letters of John, and we will enjoy God together with the best worship team in the region. (I am a little biased.) It is my prayer that this will be summer of continued revival in our lives. There are lots of ways to stay connected at Calvary so check out the links below, or go to our events page online.

Men's Ministry Golf Trip
This Friday, 5.22, Calvary men will make their annual golf pilgrimage. This year we're headed to beautiful Blackthorn Golf Course in South Bend, IN. We depart the Calvary parking lot at 6a CST for tee times commencing at 8:30a EST. The 18-hole green fee (includes cart) is $55. High School Summer Mission Trip: New Orleans
This summer, our high school students will serve on a week long mission trip in the heart of New Orleans, LA. Students will work alongside Urban Impact serving children in Day Camps and Recreational Outreach programs. For more information click HERE.
Summer Life Nights
Want to get more connected at Calvary? Summer is the time to slow down and take advantage of long days and warm evenings to hang out with old friends and make new ones. If you're thinking about joining a Life Group or want to get more connected at Calvary, Summer Life Nights are the place to meet some other Calvary people. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Summer Life Nights are 6p-8p on 6.10, 7.1, 7.15, 8.12 in the Well (room 500). This event is for everyone - singles and marrieds, families and empty nesters, college students and senior adults. Fathers Day in the Park
Mark your calendar and dust off your camp chairs, our annual Fathers Day in the Park event is coming on Sunday, 6.21. The service starts at 11a, but come early to get your chairs or blanket set up on the grass. Vendors will serve food after the service so stay to eat, visit with friends, and take in the car show. VBS Save the Date
Journey Off the Map VBS 2015 is coming Monday evening, 7.20, through Wednesday, 7.22, with Family Fun Night to follow on Thursday, 7.23! Volunteer sign-ups are 6.7 & 6.14. (Plan to attend a Volunteer Lunch after services on 7.12.) Registration for children entering K-5th grade in Fall 2015 will open on 6.21! More details to come!
