Last Sunday, our elder chair, Jon Costas, shared a little more about our vision for the future. We are excited to see even more lives changed forever! As we prepare for this project, we want to make sure our hearts are as ready to worship, grow, and change as our hands are to work. You are invited to be part of our season of prayer for the project and for all that God can do through the expansion of our building and our ministry capacity.
We're taking Ephesians 3:20-21 as our promise and our praise: To God who is able to do EVEN MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to His power at work in us, to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Here are our prayer requests:
God of All Wisdom, give our designers wisdom to create spaces that serve our church family. God our Creator, fill our designers with creativity so that our spaces are beautiful and bring glory to You. God our Provider, provide all the resources we need to fund the campus expansion. God our Father, work in us so that this preparation and building time is a period of spiritual growth in our church. God our Savior, use this expansion to change more lives forever in Northwest Indiana.
If you haven't already, pick up a prayer card from Guest Services this Sunday and put it on your fridge or in your Bible to remind you to pray with your church family. I'm looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Family Fun Night: Calvary Gives
It's Family Fun Night...with a purpose! First the fun: bring friends and neighbors to Calvary THIS SATURDAY, 11.14, from 4p - 6p for a fun-filled night of games, laser tag, and bounce houses. Plus don't miss roving magician, Johnny Magic! Then the purpose: bring a donated meal--canned vegetable, boxed stuffing, boxed dessert, and canned or boxed potato, and a packet of gravy--for families in need this Thanksgiving season. Rooted: Grace Based Parenting
Josh and Christy Reasoner will host the Rooted discipleship class this Sunday, 11.15 @ 9:30a in room 403 with a discussion on Grace Based Parenting. God the Father is the ultimate child and family expert! In this session, Josh and Christy encourage you to see yourself and your children as God does. When you embrace the grace God offers you, you then give it to your children. A great Rooted for parents, parents-to-be, and grandparents. Don't miss it!

Our Director of Worship Kurt Felsman is debuting a new album, and it's coming to Calvary first! Student Ministries SERVE
Saturday, 11.21, is a day of serving for Calvary students! Arrive at Calvary at 9a for a full day of hands-on service to people in Valparaiso and Chicago who need a little extra care this holiday season. Middle school students are distributing meal bags with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal to families at Housing Opportunities. High school students are headed up to Chicago to serve the homeless in the city. Get all the important details, sign up, and get the necessary forms HERE.
Young Adult Gathering
If you are a young adult between the ages of 21-35, you are invited to attend the gathering. This evening of dinner and discussion is hosted by Pastor Jon Nitta and is a great opportunity to grow spiritually and to meet new people. Please join us in the Well this Friday, 11.13, from 7 - 9p.
Prayer Warriors Needed
God, what would you have us do? This fall, we are entering a season of prayer as we ask God to continue to bless our church and to show us what He would have us do in the months and years ahead. One of the first things we're doing is initiating a prayer gathering on Sunday mornings. Join Dan and Candie Blankenburg every Sunday in the church conference room at 9:45a. Come and pray for our church; we need you!
