Gobbler Classic Runners Plan Another Fun Thanksgiving Stuffed with Generosity as They Run, Walk & Cheer for The St. John Food Pantry. 
This Thanksgiving, November 24th at 7am, over 500 people will participate in the 7th Annual Gobbler Classic 5k Run and Walk at Faith Church of Dyer, Indiana. The Gobbler Classic brings families together for a good cause: raising funds for the St. John Township Food Pantry.
Faith Church created the Gobbler Classic, a 5k Fun Run & Walk Event, in 2004 and has watched it grow exponentially each year.
Registration is only $15 if received by November 19, after which, walk-up registration is available for $25. The Gobbler Classic registration form can be found at FaithChurchOnline.org
Some “Gobblers” walk or run before getting ready for relatives, while others are drawn to participate in an effort to justify that extra slice of pumpkin pie. Either way, everyone can walk away feeling good since event proceeds go to the local St. John Township Food Pantry.
This “Faithsgiving” donation is made possible thanks to the generous business sponsors of Faith Church who help to underwrite the Gobbler Classic.
Participants who register early receive a Gobbler Classic Goody Bag, Event shirt, and exclusive coupons to local businesses. After completing the course, participants enjoy complimentary refreshments and an award ceremony.
