Lubeznik Center for the Arts Offers Classes this Fall

rot2LCA's fall class session has offerings to help develop skills within a media to workshops that are light and fun for ages 7 and up. Adult classes include beading, photography, abstract painting, writing, and art appreciation. Don't have time to commit to a full session? Workshops cover creative exploration, hat making, fused glass creations, and more. Young artists can choose from jewelry design, drawing, and painting. A full listing of classes are below. Creativity Workshop
Adults

Fused Glass 1

In this introductory class, students will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing while creating a coaster and some jewelry pieces.

Cocktail Hats & High Tea

Drawing for Teens

Teen Jewelry Workshop

Beading: Netting Technique

Netting is a simple beading technique that creates the illusion of a string of beads being held in place by a long string of smaller beads on the outside of the bigger beads.

Interested in having a better understanding of and appreciation for art, specifically modern and contemporary art? In this class, Hertzlieb will use projected visuals, artworks from the collection of the Brauer Museum of Art and from LCA to describe the evolution of artistic expression over time.
