Taste Comes to Crown Point

Once again, Crown Point put on its annual Taste of Crown Point festival on the courthouse square, as a display of the fine cuisine and community that CP has to offer. The Taste was full of locals and visitors alike, both enjoying the great local flavor of the festival. From larger corporations like Jamba Juice to family-owned hot dog stands, as well as chocolate delicacies, the Taste displayed a myriad of flavors and people. Thousands attended, looking for good food and a good time, and they certainly found it.

"It's nice to come back to Crown Point and see familiar faces. The taste always feels like home," said current Chicago resident, and old Cedar Lake resident, Lauren McPhillips, "The chocolate-covered strawberries are my personal favorite."

Local bands played music on the courthouse walkway, from young ages to the older, more classic age group, giving everyone a piece of their generation's music.
Don't miss it next year!
