The 2012 Hometown Festival Days will kick off with the very popular Corn Roast on Friday and Saturday, June 15th and 16th in Downtown Crown Point, Indiana. Hours for the Corn Roast this year are Friday 4-11pm and Saturday noon-11pm. The Corn Roast will offer the delicious Shriner’s roasted corn, a beer garden, various food vendors, and an expanded children’s area. On Friday night, the popular band Mr. Funnyman will provide the musical entertainment and on Saturday night The Retropolitans, a great local favorite will take the stage.
From 6am on June 15th until midnight on June 16th Main Street between Walnut Street and Clark Street and Joliet Street between Court Street and East Street will be closed.
