The Valparaiso Firefighters Local #1124 is hosting our 4th Annual Benefit Run on Saturday, September 14th. The riders will leave from and return to the Valparaiso Harley-Davidson, located at 1151 US Hwy 30. First bike rolls out at 10:00 am, with the last bike in at 3:00 pm.
The 7 stops include the Valpo Harley-Davidson, Maxim, Thomas Honda, Michigan City Harley-Davidson, Blackhawk in Westville, Kerstings Harley-Davidson, then back to Valpo Harley for the party! The cost is $30 per bike, plus $5 per passenger. There will be a beer garden, live entertainment, and raffles and prizes.
At the conclusion of the Benefit Ride, a drawing will take place for 2 winners of pork freezer packages! The additional raffle will benefit the Valparaiso Firefighter/Paramedic Wayne Swart that was injured earlier this year on the way to work his part-time job. He has been unable to return to work. The raffle tickets are $10 per ticket, available now and also at the ride. The hog is being donated by Birky Family Farm, processing donated by the Butcher Block.
