Opportunity Enterprises Announces 23rd Annual Gala

oe logoDelta Theta Tau is excited to present the 23rd Annual Gala to benefit Opportunity Enterprises on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Tickets are now on sale for Opportunity Enterprises’ most upbeat and inspirational event of the year, celebrating and supporting children and adults with disabilities in Northwest Indiana. The theme for the 2015 Gala is “The Perfect Fit.”

Since the first Gala, held in 1993, local philanthropic sorority Delta Theta Tau has been a part of presenting OE’s Gala, which has raised more than $1.3 million for children and adults with disabilities.

Delta member and Gala Committee Chair, Ann Barone, said, “Last year, more than 500 of Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland’s greatest leaders attended the 22nd Annual Opportunity Enterprises Gala to help raise over $200,000. We are determined to raise the bar of excellence even higher this year.”

The black-tie optional event will be held at Avalon Manor in Merrillville from 6:00 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 each and the night will include an open bar, gourmet dinner, exciting live and silent auction packages, and live music by Chicago’s Rhythm City. Opportunity Enterprises will also be raffling a $2,500 shopping experience to Nordstrom Chicago accompanied by a $500 Visa gift card for a night out in Chicago, courtesy of People’s Bank. Tickets for the raffle will go on sale this month.

Ellen DeMartinis, CEO of OE, said the Annual Gala grows every year because of continued support from corporate sponsors, community leaders, and the Deltas.

“We are so grateful for the Deltas, who do a remarkable job of hosting a night of celebration and entertainment. The gala has transformed into an event that is far beyond our expectations. The theme of the “perfect fit” is a true representation of our organization and mission. The gala will be an oath to our amazing clients who have found their own perfect fit within OE’s services,” said DeMartinis.
