In September, Oak Partners welcomed clients from two of their departments to the Annual Iron and Wood Golf Outing at Youche Country Club in Crown Point. Oak Partners takes the opportunity every year to say ‘thank you’ to those clients who join them for a round of golf and lunch.
“This is our 12th Annual Iron and Wood Golf Outing,” said Oak Partners’ Director of Client Experience, Crystal Dehaven.
“We’ve got two of our Teams out today -- the Principal Management Group and the Retirement Asset Management Group and their clients. It’s been a great day though. In the past, it’s been in the 40’s and rainy, but we lucked out this year and it’s been beautiful out.”
Oak Partners invited clients of each of the two ‘Groups’ out for 18 holes, raffles and lunch afterward at the Youche Country Club in Crown Point.
‘This is two of Oak Partners’ five teams who combined to do this,” said Marc Ruiz, Partner at Oak Partners. “We’ve got around 112 golfers out today, and we’re just happy to see everyone.”
Client Support Specialist, Sue Shoemaker, works with clients, assists different departments at Oak Partners and keeps the environment fun and stress-free.
“It’s a great day!,” Shoemaker said. “It’s great to see our clients and it’s the perfect day out for a golf outing.”
“It’s all about the clients today, and it’s all about them having a good day out here,” said Shoemaker. “Our clients have brought a lot of friends with them today, I think more than ever, so it’s great.”
Referrals are a big part of Oak Partners business and to see so many clients and friends of clients at this year’s Golf Outing is encouraging for the Crown Point based wealth and retirement planners.
The annual Wood and Iron Golf Outing is one of the many ways that Oak Partners interacts with their clients outside of the professional office setting. It’s a great way for Oak Partners to say ‘thank you’ to those clients for their continued business.
