Jump start your holiday shopping with an enticing array of quality handcrafted merchandise at the Friends of Hospice second annual Hospice Artisans’ Holiday Gift Boutique. Shoppers will find unique paper goods, fine hand knit accessories, polymer clay and beaded jewelry, fabric bags, children’s toys, as well as, an incredible selection of artisan designed greeting cards and special displays for stocking stuffers, teachers, pet lovers, and more!
The 2nd Annual Hospice Artisans’ Holiday Gift Boutique will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Cloister in the Woods at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located at 1101 Park Drive in Munster. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and the shopping will take place until 4:00 p.m.
A complimentary coffee and cookie café will be provided as well as, holiday music performed by the Lyrical Flutes from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
All proceeds of the event will benefit Hospice of the Calumet Area.
ABOUT FRIENDS OF HOSPICE / HOSPICE ARTISANS
The Friends of Hospice / Hospice Artisans are comprised of more than 50 women and men who, who make unique and colorful cards, and other high quality handcrafted items including journals, hand knit scarves and handbags, and fabric accessories that are highly embellished and creatively packaged. The Artisans meet as a group, host teaching / training workshops, and also work individually to create their merchandise, which is sold at special events throughout the area, all to benefit Hospice of the Calumet Area. Since the group’s inception eight years ago, the Hospice Artisans have donated more than $250,000 to Hospice of the Calumet Area for patient and family care.
