Chesterton’s European Market opened May 7, 2011. Chesterton’s European Market is open every consecutive Saturday from 8am to 2pm, however they are closed for Oz Festival weekend September 17 and reopen until the last Saturday in October. The Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of a new, fully functional website for Chesterton’s European Market. “We are pleased to have had the ability to update our European Market website, as it hasn’t been since 2003 and with our growth we want to make information as accessible as possible,” said Tiffany Bley, Market Director.
The new website boasts rolling photographs, an event calendar, a news section that features a tentative listing of weekly vendors and a musician schedule. The listings are tentative as the Market is rain or shine so when poor weather comes vendors may cancel. The website also features a detailed vendor section, describing the seasonal vendors that participate in the market every single Saturday throughout the season.
The Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce, who organizes the European Market, has created a new promotion entitled Market Day Deals.
