Customers and staff are thrilled at the new location of Catherine’s Bridal Boutique. Though just a short move down the block, it was a huge improvement to the store and for its shoppers!
The store’s dresses, accessories, mirrors, and shoppers were getting a little too crowded at the boutique located in downtown Valpo. Now, the new address of the boutique is at 113 Lincolnway and you cannot miss the much larger front window where each dress-adorned mannequin is getting plenty of window space.
Staff of the store say they have been looking to relocate for a while now, especially since they have been outgrowing the small space for years.
The owner, Catherine Brown, jumped on the chance to grab the larger downtown space, which was occupied by a David’s Bridal at one point and Little Chocolates.
The staff of the boutique started the move on May 13 and was done in just a few days.
Now when you walk in you are instantly greeted by the staff at the front desk. The arrangement of the racks of dresses create more room to walk around and for the guests or men dragged along there are chairs to sit in at the front of the store.
There are now several dressing rooms and three sets of large, three-way mirrors to make sure the dress is perfect in every place.
The non-wedding dresses are mostly racked together, and the white, special gowns align the right wall of the building.
Displays of shoes, jewelry, and other accessories are presented for all to see on one wall and there is enough room to keep on growing!
With a bigger space, comes even more opportunities for customers to find their “Say Yes to the Dress” perfect gown.
Catherine’s Bridal Boutique thanks their customers who have helped make the move over go as smoothly as possible and welcomes all prom-goers, party-attendees, and brides-to-be to come in for their dress shopping. And, hey, bring the whole family along!

Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
