V.C. Chickering, North Jersey alum, has a debut novel coming out February 23rd entitled, Nookietown (St. Martin’s Press). The bidding war to option her book for television was won by Warner Bros. TV and Kirkus gave it the following review: “With vivid characters, quick dialogue, and over-the-top situations, Chickering’s debut novel alternates between moments of true hilarity and deep introspection.”

Michelle Cruz Gonzales, San Francisco alum and LTYM book contributor, has her memoir The Spitboy Rule: Tales of a Xicana in a Female Punk Band debut in April on PM Press.

Austin alum and new San Antonio director/producer Jill Robbins was published in Mothering Through the Darkness (a Her Stories Project-- co-edited by our Boulder production team member Stephanie Sprenger and featuring several of our local director/producers and alum) in November 2015.

Northwest Indiana alum Carrie Steinweg is publishing her second children's book, Into the Night, a collaboration with illustrator Michelle Krisik Brown. It's Steingweg's sixth book!
