Valparaiso Native and Aspiring Actor, Brad Painter, Making Strides in Entertainment Industry

Brad-PainterBrad Painter, a Valparaiso, Indiana native, is an aspiring actor who has found recent successes in the entertainment industry. Brad will be making his acting debut in the film, One Step Behind, which was just accepted to screen at the Grand Junction Film Festival on February 15, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Often playing roles as the outcast nerd in love, Painter got his start in the local theater at Valparaiso High School. After graduating, he attended the New York Film Academy Acting Conservatory in New York City. Since then, he has relocated to Los Angeles and is steadily working towards his goal of being on the big screen. In addition to his role in One Step Behind, Brad can be seen in the web series Dead Cat Café and recently attended a premiere to witness his performance in the romantic drama, Silent Love Story, where he got the opportunity to work on the CBS lot. His inspiration to act began in community theatre at Chicago Street Theatre and the Memorial Opera House. He is also influenced by actors like Paul Newman, Ryan Gosling, Paul Rudd, and Jon Hamm. With his growing success, Brad looks forward to eventually bettering the world by inspiring other young actors like himself, and by starting an initiative geared towards hand-delivering gifts to families in need around the holidays.

He is excited to see his work on the big screen in the Grand Junction Film Festival and hopes you’ll be looking for him on your television or on the big screen at a theater near you.
