Alice Peacock will be returning to perform at the Memorial Opera House on Friday, August 22nd, 2014 in a benefit concert to support the Porter County Museum Foundation. Alice Peacock has performed in the Imagine Music Concert Series on two prior occasions over the last six years; once as a headliner and once as a co-headliner with Shawn Mullins. She may be known best for her song “Bliss” which she sang with John Mayer and which was used by Hershey to promote its Bliss chocolate a few years ago in television ads. Net proceeds of the show will be donated by Imagine Music Productions, LLC to the Foundation. Local favorite singer/songwriter Kate Myers will be on hand to open the show for Alice on the 22nd.
Individual tickets for the concert are available to the public at the Memorial Opera House box office at 104 E. Indiana Avenue in Valpo between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. Tickets are also available online at www.mohlive.com or by phone at 219.548.9137. Ticket prices are $35 and $25.
