The original One Night Jam artist returns! Long a CST favorite, Dan Navarro's music is folkish with a rock tinge. Lowen & Navarro achieved national fame when Pat Benatar recorded and had a hit with their song, "We Belong."
Also a successful voiceover actor/musician, Dan's voice has appeared in such films as Happy Feet, The Lorax, Rio, and Envy. He's also appeared on such TV shows as "American Dad," "Family Guy," and "Melrose Place" and countless commercials over the years. Most recently he was featured as "El Chakal" in the hit movie, The Book of Life.
Any time Dan appears on our stage, things get unpredictable and just a little crazy. Early on he started playing with the set, with props, with costumes..... every Navarro show at CST is truly a night to remember. And Dan's still working on his first solo studio album, so you can look forward to a lot of brand-new songs. We wouldn't consider doing ONJ without Dan. We love him, he loves us, he loves you. It's all sorts of love.
This time, we've invited a wonderfully-talented trio of singer/songwriter friends to open--SongSisters. They're a perfect fit for the evening, and we know you'll enjoy their music as much as we do. Patti Shaffner, Sue Fink and Amy Dixon-Kolar are singer/songwriters in the classic folk tradition. Beautiful harmonies, intelligent and often witty songwriting. Makes an already awesome evening of music even awesomer.
