Weekly Public Affairs Program to Premiere in December

Lakeshore Public Radio, in conjunction with the City of Crown Point, will premiere a one-hour, weekly public affairs call-in program. The program is scheduled to air Thursdays from 12 to 1 p.m. on The Lakeshore, 89.1 FM and online at www.TheLakeshoreFM.com, beginning December 3.

Host Mayor David Uran will provide the public with information about news in the City. Listeners can call in with questions and comments to 219 769-WLPR(9577). Potential topics for discussion include: economic development, city services, city department updates, recycling efforts, special events, parks & recreation, schools, historic preservation and health updates.

Program Director Len Clark commented, “We hope this program will open the door for other community groups to utilize Lakeshore Public Radio to keep connected to those they serve.”
