Lakeshore Public Public Radio, The Lakeshore, 89.1 FM will present live news coverage of the Illiana Expressway Public Hearing on Thursday, February 18, 2010. The meeting will broadcast live from the Crown Point High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. (CST) on 89.1 FM and online at www.TheLakeshoreFM.com. 
The meeting was called to order by the Indiana House Roads and Transportation Committee, chaired by State Representative Terri Austin (D-Anderson).
The Illiana Expressway was proposed to connect I-65 in northwest Indiana with the south suburbs of Chicago. The tollway is projected to significantly cut traffic congestion in the region.
