Challenge for the Charger Cup
Central Elementary hosts the 2nd annual "Challenge for the Charger Cup" city wide dodgeball tournament on Saturday, March 19.2011. The event includes a round robin tournament for grades K-5 and double elimination for middle to highschool students. College and adult teams will compete for the Charger Cup.

1st Annual Mardi Gras Unmasked Gala
The Mardi Gras Unmasked Gala benefiting Rebuilding Together Portage will be a great night of dinner, dancing, entertainment, auctions and a wine and beer tasting.

The annual Ringing in Spring 5K Race, billed as the “largest running event in Northwest Indiana,” is coming to Valparaiso again this year! The race will take place on Saturday, April 2nd 2011 at 9am CST, starting at the Valparaiso Family YMCA

Fr. Kevin's Famous Meatloaf Dinner
Join us on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 5-7pm for Fr. Kevin's Famous Meatloaf Dinner! There is no charge for this event, however, a free will offering will be accepted to help the St. T's Youth Mission Trip prepare for their summer mission trip to the Twin Cities.

Beginning Oil Painting
Beginning oil painting presented by Susan Young. Project is "Mountain Peak"; pre-registration and prepayment is required. Fee of $55 will cover all supplies.

St. Paul Men's Club Annual Fish Fry
Menu features Alaskan Pollock, red potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, rolls and butter.

Cornhole Tournament
On Friday, March 18 at 7:00pm, we will be hosting a cornhole tournament at Woodland Park. Cost is $30 per team for 2 v. 2 double elimination. Tournament is for ages 18 & up.

Oboe-English-Horn-QuartetClassical Oboe Recital
On Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Duesenberg Recital Hall at Valparaiso University, four talented Valparaiso High School musicians will present an exciting classical concert of Oboe and English Horn solo and chamber music by Beethoven, Handel, Vivaldi, Marcello and Haydn.

Bach Collegium Japan
Valparaiso University will host the Bach Collegium Japan, renowned worldwide for its exceptional performances of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music, in a premier cultural event for the greater Chicago region on March 19, 2011.
