10 Fun Things To Do This Weekend in Northwest Indiana: A Night in Old Chicago, Half Marathon and Dancing Like the Stars

A Night in Old Chicago
Held at the outstanding Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa venue, A Night in Old Chicago will feature fabulous restaurant and dessert establishments, cocktails at four separate bar locations and unbelievable live entertainment. The Blues Brothers and Me & The Boys will be performing; 1920's gangster and flapper impersonators will be mingling with the crowd along with authentic "speakeasy" displays to liven the evening's events.

Missoula Children’s Theater Production "Hansel and Gretel"
The 2012 Missoula Children’s Theater (MCT) productions of “Hansel and Gretel” will be performed on Saturday November 10th at the Kesling Middle School Auditorium. The Missoula Children’s Theater, the nation’s largest touring children’s theater, is a non-profit organization based in Missoula Montana, creating and producing plays since 1970. The MCT this year will visit over 1,200 communities with 47 teams of Tour Actor/Directors involving over 55,000 children performing this production all over this country.

Wilson Phillips Headlines at Blue Chip
Wilson Phillips, top selling female vocal group with hit singles including “Hold On” and “Release Me,” headline in the Stardust Event Center at Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa on Saturday, November 10. The members of Wilson Phillips are known for being the offspring of prominent musicians: the Wilsons are the daughters of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and Phillips’ parents are John Phillips and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas.

On Sunday, November 11, beginning at the United Way of Porter County at 8:30 am, this race benefits the United Way's Power of Youth Council, a group of students representing Porter County high schools, funding community youth self-esteem programs. Computerized chip timing will be provided by T&H Timing, with split times at every mile. Water stations will be located along the course and a post-race party with music and food will round out the event.

Dine in Support of Ending Homelessness
Sunday, November 11th is "The Day" for our Annual Benefit for the Homeless! Join us from noon to 5:00 pm! As usual, we will have a buffet, cash bar, door prizes, and live music. Plan on joining us for a fun filled day for an important, GREAT cause!
