Dyer Summer Fest
The 25th Annual Dyer Summer Fest will be at Pheasant Hills Park on June 9-12, 2016 at Pheasant Hills Park. Zao Island - Summer Music Series
As part of their fresh look and new offerings for the summer of 2016, Zao Island welcomes you to the island on June 10th and 11th for a special performance by Soul Shine and The Rave (respectively)! Zao Island, until now Northwest Indiana's #1 destination location for family fun, is now the area's newest live music venue. Beginning Friday, July 18 and through the end of August, Zao Island will be presenting some of the area's best original rock, blues, reggae, jazz, and jam bands on Friday and Saturday nights (full bands lineup below). Porter County Chalk the Walk 
We are so excited to host the 4th Annual Chalk the Walk around the Porter County Courthouse Square on Saturday June 11! Thank you to all who have already registered. This event offers businesses, organizations, and individuals the opportunity to feature their brand in a unique and family friendly event.

Crown Point Hometown Festival 
An old-fashioned street celebration around the Old Lake County Courthouse Lawn and Square, featuring great food, a beer garden, live music, games for the kids, and of course delicious roasted corn.

St Paul Open Air Market
St. Paul Friday Open Air Market at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, corner of 8th and Franklin Streets Opens Fri, May 27th and continues through Oct Every Fri, 3-8pm. Don't miss this spacious kid and dog friendly market held each Fri. This fun neighborhood market is a great place to unwind from the week, pick up some ingredients to throw on the grill, and grab a snack! Items sold include: Vegetables, fruits, crafts, handmade items, flowers, food trucks, baked goods, entertainment, bread, cheese, and animal treats. Purchase locally produced vegetables and meats, crafts, and other hand-made items from local artisans, and delicious and healthy edibles made in local kitchens.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Rummage Sale 
On May 14 and June 11, 2016 the Club’s Torch and Keystone Clubs will be hosting their First Annual Parking Lot Rummage Sale to raise funds for their community service projects. On these dates, area residents can shop and find their treasures! Individuals and/or businesses interested in selling items during the two-day Parking Lot Rummage Sale are invited to reserve a spot.

MACU Shred Day 
Collecting items for Lakeshore Paws throughout May and at the event (will have a list of items on the website) MACU will also be hosting an adoption event on Shred Day, and Designer Desserts cupcakes will be handed out to the first 100 people to arrive. So, people will get to mingle with dogs and enjoy a free cupcake!

Relay for Life of La Porte 
This is a fun event for the entire family. Free admittance, free entertainment, free kids area, free dinner for cancer survivors and their caregivers. Various foods, wares, games and activities are available for a donation to the American Cancer Society (ACS).

"Live in the Ville" Bike Night and Lighted Motorcycle Parade
Bring the family and come out for our fun Lighted Motorcycle Parade and Street Festival! Enjoy great food, art, music, vendors and entertainment. Beer tent provided by Byway Brewery. 6600-6800 Blocks of Kennedy Ave Hammond, IN Parade starts at dusk (approx 8:30) at 161st St and Kennedy Ave, travels South to 173rd St, East to Grand Ave, North to 165th St, ends at Kennedy.
