10 Fun Things to Do This Weekend in Northwest Indiana April 28 – 30, 2017

Sit back and enjoy the show. Swap the TV set this weekend to go out and watch a live concert or show. Watch the Valparaiso School staff battle the Harlem Wizards on the court or fighters pit against each other in the 911 SlugFest in Hammond. Or put your dancing shoes on and swing your hips to the tunes of Elvis Presley or with the dancers of “The Drowsy Chaperone” at the Memorial Opera House. Then, finish the weekend humming along to the melodies of the two orchestral concerts in Michigan City. Whether it is live music, the cheers from the sports game or the laughter of kids engaging in fun, healthy activities, Northwest Indiana invites the community to enjoy the sounds of summer.
