Active in NWI: The Lady with the Bull Horn Knows Everything

Or so I have been informed. Little did I know that was the case on the cold, rainy morning of November 9, 2014 at our Girls on the Run 5k in La Porte, IN. The Power-of-the-Bullhorn Discovery was made the next week when the man in the gray jacket approached me at Kroger and thanked me for directing him to the volunteer station on said dreary Saturday morning. He had been searching for someone to help him find his granddaughter, a LPHS GR volunteer; but among the 1,017 participants and 100 volunteers, he couldn't find anyone to provide direction (note to self: put more easily-detectable 'Can-I-help-you?" volunteers on the course and heighten our signage visibility).
