PorterLogonewTo help improve the cardiovascular health of our community, Porter Health System recently introduced “Legs for Life,” a nationally recognized free community wellness program that screens people who may be at risk for peripheral artery disease (PAD).

According to the Society for Interventional Radiologists, PAD affects an estimated 12 million people in the United States, and is most common in people over 50, those who smoke, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes.
