Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point Echocardiography Course Registration Deadline

Applications for the next School of Echocardiography program at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point are being accepted until Aug. 31.

The School of Echocardiography is an Associate of Applied Science degree program that prepares students for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International examinations, which are recognized as the leading choices for credentialing in the field of cardiac ultrasound.

The school is accredited by the state and nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The 22-month, hospital-based program incorporates classroom instruction, lab skills and clinical experiences in a variety of health care settings, which allow students to learn the art and science of echocardiography.

Evening classes are arranged in eight-week blocks with 800 daytime hours of clinical experience required for program completion.
