Knox, IN–Starke County residents are invited to attend the Community Health Fair Tuesday, May 13 from 2 pm to 7 pm (Central time) at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center, located at 55 E. Lake St.
Indiana University Health Starke Hospital and Community Services of Starke County partnered for the annual event.
Participants will receive a free gift for attending. Refreshments will also be available. In addition, attendees are encouraged to take advantage of several screenings at no charge, including:
Blood pressure
Clinical breast exams (2 pm – 6 pm CST)
Glucose (blood sugar)
Osteoporosis
Colorectal cancer take-home screening kits
Oral cancer (2 pm – 5 pm CST)
New this year will be an area for children to color and car seat inspections will be available from 2 pm to 5 pm (CST). Screenings are funded by the Starke Health Fund.
