The Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County will present 'Lower Your Blood Pressure' at locations in Lake and Porter Counties in October. 
This informational program will provide attendees with increased knowledge regarding causes of hypertension (high blood pressure) and ways the attendees can attempt to lower their blood pressure. The importance of a healthy lifestyle and seeking healthcare assistance when appropriate will be emphasized as it relates to high blood pressure.
- October 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Merrillville Senior Center at Merrillville High School. ( 276 E. 68th Place)
- October 15th at 12:15 p.m. at Village Park Enrichment Center at Banta.(605 Beech St., Valparaiso)
- October 22nd at 2 p.m. at Jamestown Apartments Community Center. (Virginia Park Drive, Valparaiso)
- October 29th at 3 p.m. at Linden House in Hobart. (360 W. 61st Ave., behind St. Mary's Hospital)
