The holiday season can be a particularly painful time for people after the death of a loved one or friend. To help families better cope with the holidays in the face of personal sorrow and loss, the Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County is hosting a "Grieving During the Holidays" program on November 14, 2010 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Harre Union, Ballroom C at Valparaiso University. 
Lu Krieger-Blake, MSW, LCSW will offer an interactive program to provide families and friends ideas to help get through the upcoming holiday season. After the program, attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments and share personal stories and experiences with others if they wish.
