Biggest Loser Pyramid

BiggestLoserPyramidI like to keep it as simple as possible. Some days I count calories. Some days I just eat the best food for the best results.

When I do this, I use the Biggest Loser Pyramid. It goes like this: 4-3-2-1

  • 4: The bottom, or widest, tier represents the fruits and vegetables in your diet. You should eat at least 4 servings daily.
  • 3: The next tier up represents protein foods, of which you should have 3 servings daily.
  • 2: The next tier is for whole grains, of which you should have 2 servings daily.
  • 1: The top tier is for extras, of which you are allowed up to 200 calories daily.

I never forget to drink plenty of water. If I slip, I just consider it wandering and I wander on back for my next choice which is going to be better. It is never (and always say never on this…lol), it is NEVER “all or nothing”. Just wander back. You will gain strength by just knowing it is OK.
