Kids will stay active during the winter months and have fun learning and playing volleyball. Register through the Valpo Parks Department, attend practices at the Boys & Girls Club with VU volleyball players instructing them, and play games on Saturdays at the Club. The 8 week program is a co-ed program separated into four leagues: 1st & 2nd Graders, 3rd & 4th Graders, 5th & 6th & 7th & 8th Graders. Rules will be modified to help kids have a great time learning volleyball or sharpening their skills while being successful. Teams will practice once a week on Wednesday or Thursday. Practice begins January 5. Games are on Saturday afternoons and begin January 24. All practices and games will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Valparaiso at 354 Jefferson St.
This volleyball program is a partnership between the Valpo Parks Department and the Boys & Girls Club. Enrolling in this program allows the youth to enjoy both the Parks programming and an annual membership at the Club. The volleyball program will be led by Parks Department staff while being held at the Boys & Girls Club. Price is $65/77 ($35 less if a member of the Boys & Girls Club). Registration ends on December 12.
