Rittenhouse Senior Living of Valparaiso will be hosting a Journey Through Grief Support Group presented by VITAS Hospice for six consecutive Wednesdays beginning on Wednesday, January 29th from 5:30-6:45pm at their community located at 1300 Vale Park Road.
Rittenhouse and VITAS understand that this may be a difficult time for you, and you may find it helpful to talk to someone about your feelings or practical needs related to your loss. In our groups, we honor confidentiality and we are respectful of all persons. We strive to create a warm, safe and comfortable environment for each group.
Support groups can help you identify the normal signs and symptoms of grief, increase your understanding of the grieving process, develop helpful coping strategies, gain strength and insight from shared experiences of groups members, and develop a supportive network.
