Porter Health System’s Senior Circle Program Presents Bone Density Screening

To better understand the relationship between bone density and osteoporosis, Porter Health System’s Senior Circle Program will offer a Bone Density Screening by Porter’s Community Care Nurse Steve Beach, RN, BSN. The screening will be held from 10 to 11:30 am, on Monday, August 16, at Bonner Senior Center, 5800 Lexington Ave., Portage. Senior_Circle_Logo_porter

Beach will discuss ways of preventing and treating osteoporosis. A free heel bone density screening will also be included. Participants must be able to remove their socks for the screening.
