Porter Health System’s Senior Circle Program Presents “Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: The Basics”

Learn more about typical aging versus problematic memory changes at Porter Health System’s upcoming Senior Circle program, “Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: The Basics.” The free presentation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Porter’s Education and Rehabilitation Campus, 1401 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso. The presentation will include the basic information everyone needs to know about memory loss issues. Descriptions of the various causes of dementia and an overview of how Alzheimer’s affects the brain, including its causes, risk factors and information on obtaining a diagnosis will be discussed.
