Porter Regional Hospital recently won the New Construction Award from the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce. When presenting the award, Chamber President Mary Fox said, "It will also be "an economic driver for our region, a contributor to the field of medicine, and a model of efficiency."
During the annual event, Laurie Wehner-Evans, Porter's director of Community Relations was awarded the 2012 Volunteer of the Year Award for my work with the chamber. Congratulations Laurie!
