On Monday, November 5, 2012, 12 of the top chefs in the NW Indiana area gathered for the 11th annual March of Dimes Signature Chef's Auction. The event, which includes both a silent and a live auction, was sponsored by such companies as Lithograhpic Communications, Indiana Beverage, The Avalon Manor, and V as in Victor, among others.
Andrea Evans, the 2012 Chair for the event, said "This event is one of the most fun events in NW Indiana! You get to sample food from 12 different venues, all gathered in one spot, and for a great cause." Evans also stated that this year's event was an enormous success, with the total amount raised exceeding $55,000. "We could not have asked for a better, more generous turnout from our sponsors, guests, and chefs, it truly is amazing to see that many people in one room, for one cause," said Evans.
