2010 R.O.S.E. Awards Recognize Outstanding Service

The Indiana Dunes (Porter) Tourism and the LaPorte County Tourism held the R.O.S.E. awards (Recognizing Outstanding Service Excellence)2010-rose-awards-1 at the VU Harre Union Ballroom this past Wednesday.

The R.O.S.E awards started around 10 years ago. This program acknowledges those throughout the county who provide exceptional service. Nomination cards are made available throughout the counties to visitors and residents alike. Anyone can nominate a person or business they feel best exemplifies excellent service.

Many businesses and individuals from Valparaiso received awards at yesterday’s ceremony, such as the Dish for Fine Dining Restaurant, the Harre Union at Valparaiso University, Donna Flanagin for Unsung Hero, Front Porch Music for Cultural Attraction of the Year, the City of Valparaiso for Putting Porter County on the Map, the Porter County Builder’s Association, and Valpo Velvet for the Lemonade Award.
