Calvary Link: The Dramatic Conclusion to “Live Strong”

calvary-link-headerThere’s so many great things happening at Calvary these days that I almost don’t know where to begin. Set up is happening right now for a sold out concert this Friday night with Sevenglory and Kurt is back to lead worship this Sunday at Calvary. By the way—last weekend while he was on the road with Sevenglory they saw over 100 kids make commitments for Christ! A huge THANK YOU to our friend Daniel Doss for leading last Sunday while Kurt was away.

Our students are getting ready to spread the gospel through their participation in the 30 Hour Famine and their fund raising efforts to go to Mitaboni, Kenya this summer. Thank you to all those who supported them last week through the Spaghetti dinner! Let’s work hard to help them get there.

About 45 leaders gathered this morning in “The Well” to hear Jon Costas talk about leadership. There’s still room for more—so you are invited to join us next Wednesday morning at 7a. And don’t forget that this Sunday is the dramatic conclusion to our Live Strong series in Ecclesiastes—do NOT miss it. Change your weekend plans if you have to!

Can’t Wait to See You— Lionel

Student Ministries
30 Hour Famine is for Students (6th-12th grade) around the world, loving God and fighting hunger. It’s that simple. Every year, thousands of students unite to do Famine. They go without food for 30 hours. They learn about hunger - and then they do something about it. They raise funds to help feed and care for tens of thousands of kids all over the world. They experience hunger for themselves. Best of all? They help save lives. For more information CLICK HERE. To join in the fight and make a donation, contact Pastor Joe (joe@calvaryweb.net).

Adult Ministries
Calvary men, children, family and friends are invited to join the Band of Brothers for a night of fellowship and sports on Tuesday, 2.21! A light dinner and fellowship will be held in the McGill room at the VU Athletics Recreation Center at 6p. The game will commence at 7:05p. Please CLICK HERE for additional details.

Please join us for our second annual "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" Saturday, 3.3 or Friday, 3.9! Last year, over 40 people participated and each one said they would do it again and encourage others to as well. This is an amazing opportunity to get connected with more people at Calvary! For further details and to sign up, pick up an information packet at the Info Desk and return it by 2.26.
