Four More Officers Graduate from Police Executive Leadership Academy

valpopoliceIndiana Association of Chiefs of Police Chairman George Kehl of the Fisher’s Police Department is pleased to announce that Officer Joe Hall, Todd Kobitz, Jerame Simpson and Robert Fisher have graduated from the Police Executive Leadership Academy (PELA Program).

As one of a selected number of law enforcement professionals statewide who have participated in the PELA program, officers Hall, Kobitz, Simpson and Fisher join the ranks of the most highly trained command level police executives in the State of Indiana.

PELA is a comprehensive educational program that is designed to maximize the personal and professional effectiveness of law enforcement executives. The PELA curriculum is modular in nature and is designed to reflect the functional areas of law enforcement management: Leadership Management, Human Resources, Communication Skills Development, and Strategic Management and Organizational Development.

The Valparaiso Police Department has had over 20 officers graduate from the PELA Program. The Valparaiso Police Department has hosted this academy for the past two years.
