31 Cent Scoop Night for the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation

Valparaiso Firefighters Local 1124 is participating in the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation 4th annual '31 Cent Scoop Night' at the Baskin-Robbins locations in Valparaiso. 31-cent-scoop-nightAll ice cream sales are directly donated to the foundation.

When: Wednesday, April 28th Time: 5pm - 10pm
Where: Baskin-Robbins (BOTH Valparaiso locations...3310 Calumet Ave. AND 1651 Morthland Dr.)
Cost: 31 cents/scoop of ice cream
**All sales from the 31 cent scoop night go to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation (NFFF) which is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization** Their mission is to lead a nationwide effort to honor America's fallen firefighters and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives without their fallen loved one. Come get some yummy ice cream from Baskin-Robbins, visit with your local firefighters/paramedics (who will be scooping the ice cream), look at the Valparaiso F.D. apparatus, and know that your $ is going to a great cause where you can help be OUR hero! We hope to see you there!

Event Background: On this same night, Baskin-Robbins shops from across the U.S. will host the 4th annual 31 Cent Scoop Night, from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Last year's event was a huge success with more than 600 fire stations and fire service organizations participating in the event to raise money and awareness for local fire programs. On a national level, Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation will make a $100,000 donation to NFFF to mark the event and reinforce its commitment to the firefighting community.
