Kiwanis-Keys-to-the-CityLast year, downtown Valpo was filled with the musical tickling of the ivories as the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis installed pianos around the square. The project was well received so on July 7, the pianos will return to various downtown locations through July 22. This year, the number of pianos will increase from five last year to eight, with Two Men and a Truck providing free delivery and removal of the pianos.

The pianos are available for use by anyone in the community, accomplished pianists or brand new beginners. Look for the pianos outside of Pat’s Parlor, Cornucopia Coffee, Memorial Opera House, Margaritas, the Porter County Courthouse, Seasons on the Square, Central Park Plaza, and between Bistro 157 and Passtimes.

Join ValpoLife and several accomplished pianists on July 7, as we inaugurate the installation with a few performances to celebrate the arts. Then stick around for the First Thursday event at the Valpo Dining restaurants from 5-10 pm!
