Peters, Taylor, Howdeshell compete at Meyo Invitational

valpouwomenstrackinvitationalThe Valparaiso women’s track and field teams sent three athletes to the prestigious Meyo Invitational at the University of Notre Dame on Friday.

Jazmin Taylor (Rock Island, Ill./Rock Island) finished tenth in the high jump with her height of 1.62m/5-3.75.

Megan Howdeshell (Bourbon, Ind./Triton Junior-Senior) took 30th in weight throw with her heave of 14.64m/48-0.

Sarah Peters (LaGrange, Ill./Lyons Township) finished 14th in the pole vault with her mark of 3.46m/11-4.25.

Sophomore distance runner Liz Bloy (Freedom, Wis./Freedom) will take part in the Meyo Mile on Saturday, while the rest of the Crusaders travel to the University of Chicago for the Windy City Invitational.
