The Purdue University Calumet women's tennis team defeated Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Roosevelt University, 8-1, Saturday at Community Hospital Tennis Complex.

The Peregrines (7-5, 4-4 CCAC) defeated the Lakers (5-10, 2-6 CCAC) 8-1 in the regular season finale.

Baseball: Peregrines Split with Olivet Nazarene in CCAC Twinbill Saturday
The Purdue University Calumet baseball team split a doubleheader with Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Olivet Nazarene Saturday afternoon at Dowling Park.

The Peregrines (15-17, 10-13) defeated the Tigers (33-12, 20-5) for the first time since the program was reinstated in 2013.

Softball: Purdue Calumet Splits with St. Francis on Senior Day
The Purdue University Calumet softball team stunned league title contender St. Francis (Ill.) in Saturday’s opener before falling in Game 2 in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory at Dowling Park’s Fifth Third Bank Field.

The Peregrines (21-22, 10-8) topped the Fighting Saints (26-14, 15-5) 11-1 in five innings in Game 1, before USF turned the tables in Game 2, winning 13-0 in five innings.

Baseball: Purdue Calumet Falls at Olivet Nazarene, 5-1
The Purdue University Calumet baseball team dropped a 5-1 league decision at Olivet Nazarene University Friday.

The Peregrines (14-16, 9-12 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference) scored their lone run of the game in the second inning after the Tigers (32-11, 19-4) struck first with two runs in the first, then tacked on two more runs in the bottom of the second to take a 4-1 lead.
