Instructor, Mr. Phelps, was able to get press passes to the Notre Dame/Western Michigan game for two Portage High School students. The students were able to be on the field, attend the after game press conference, and visit the press box.
Our students are pictured at the right interviewing Clark Mussman, (Clark plays tight end for Western Michigan and he is a Portage Grad).
Pictured at the top (l-r) are Mike Zmija, Mr. Phelps, & Rachel Santos. Both students attend Portage HS. Mike is our play by play announcer and Rachel is a sideline reporter.
Pictured below is Mike shooting Rachel's sideline reporting at the game won by Notre Dame 44-20 over Western Michigan.
