Five VHS Football Players Sign National Letters of Intent

Five VHS senior football players signed letters of intent to reserve athletic scholarships upon graduation. Head football coach, Mark Hoffman, shared a bit on each student, exclaiming their efforts on the field and the integrity of each student.

"Joel Bishop is one of only two three-sport athletes...It was unbelievable what he did for us in the season." Joel will be attending Carthage College along with John Covington
, who Mark said, "His passion for the game has grown over the last four years. He's one of the reasons we've had so much success."

"Dominic Coatsolonia was a leader for us, and now he's a leader in the baseball team." He'll be attending Elmhurst College, playing football and baseball.

"Greg Simms is very talented. He's very strong - one of the strongest athletes on our team last year." He will be attending Benedictine University.

Coach Hoffman said this about student, Matt Wagner, "This was one young man who paved the way for us." He will be attending the University of Indianapolis.
