In 16th place as a team after the first kilometer, the Vikes went to work during the middle of the race, moving quickly through the 200-man field, and with just over a halfmile left, were closing in on the top five teams and a spot on the podium. Showing a lot of heart, the Vikings finished hard and passed a combined thirty-three runners in the final stretch to claim fourth place overall! It was the team's best finish since placing third in 2012. Way to go!
