The Video Production and Media Studies class at the Porter County Career Center will be broadcasting the Valparaiso High School homecoming football game vs. Portage this Friday, October 8th. The broadcast will begin approx. 7pm. We will use two cameras on top of the press box, two cameras on the field, and utilize our instant-replay abilities. We will cover the crowning of the homecoming court and hopefully interview the queen on the field before the 2nd half. Additionally, we would like to interview Superintendents Berta and Melin between the 3rd and 4th Quarters. Following the game, we would like to get a quick word from the winning coach.
I encourage you to stop by our production truck at some point before or during the game and see your students in action, since our crew consists of both Portage and Valpo students. Play by Play will be Mike Zjimia (PHS) Color Commentary by Gabe Meyers (PHS), and on-field reporting covered by Rachel Santos (PHS).
